Specials and Enrichments
All students participate in Physical Education, Spanish, and Music lessons for at least 30 minutes each week as a whole class. These experiences are designed to support their cognitive, social, and creative development in a hands-on, engaging manner.
Physical Education
Movement is an essential part of Montessori education, helping students develop coordination, balance, and teamwork. Students build strength, agility, and confidence through structured activities and free-movement exercises while learning important lessons in cooperation and sportsmanship.

Spanish
Introduced through interactive songs, hands-on materials, and individualized lessons, the Spanish curriculum immerses students in the basics of language learning, helping them develop cultural awareness and communication skills.

Music
Music education in the Montessori environment nurtures self-expression, auditory discrimination, and coordination. The curriculum includes: listening and Ear Training, Rhythm Development, Singing and Conducting, Introduction to Instruments, and Dramatic Play and Performance.

ELECTIVE CLASSES
At The Springs, we offer a variety of elective classes that provide students with additional opportunities to explore their interests and develop new skills.
Elective registration details will be shared during the first few weeks of school, and classes will begin in October. These classes are open to all students who wish to participate and take place in the late afternoon. However, half-day students are welcome to return for any class they join.
Participation is optional, and the elective instructors manage all fees and registration directly. Please see a few examples of elective classes here: dance, yoga, gymnastics, flag football, soccer, ninja camp, and many more.
